USPS isn't UPS!!
I have seem a lot stupid people out there, but never someone this stupid...
I went to the post office nearby my office to pick up my express mail . Anyway, the dude in front of me had a unsealed package in his hand.
I was thinking “oh no.. not again, why don’t you have your package ready before you come to the post office”
Anyway, it was his turn so he walked up to the counter… (I didn’t mean to listen but he was just right in front of me)
USPS lady “what kinda service do you want? Priority? Express?”
Stupid dude “ Don’t you accept UPS here?”
USPS lady “We are USPS, not UPS. If you want UPS service, you have to go to a UPS store. I can get you an address.”
Stupid dude “No UPS? How about Fedex?” (men…. Which part of we are USPS you don’t understand?)
USPS lady “ Then you have to go to a Fedex store for Fedex service.” (she was very nice and I was trying so hard not to laugh…)
Stupid dude “well, I need to ship this package out today… it has to arrive to the receiver tomorrow”
USPS lady “ I am sorry but it has already passed the pick-up time, your package won’t able to arrive by tomorrow”
Stupid dude “Fine, I’ll go with priority then.”
At this time, this USPS lady gave this stupid dude the label for the priority service and kindly asked him to step aside so she can serve me first.
Guess what this guy said.. “oh, I will be really fast…” and he just stood there.
( Me standing there making funny face now….)
USPS lady “ok, your total is blah blah blah”
Stupid dude “ Can you charge this to my company account?”
USPS lady “Does your company have an account with us?”
(OK, here’s the reason I call him “stupid dude”)
Stupid dude “No, but we have one with UPS…”
USPS lady “sorry, it’s not gonna work.. this is USPS”
Seriously, how many times did the USPS lady mention that USPS isn’t UPS?? I don’t know… this dude must be on drug or something cuz… how can someone be so stupid???
